- Walls – Please clean off any dirty marks
- Ceilings – Please remove any cobwebs
- Light Fittings – remove any dead insects inside
- Ceiling Fans – clean
- Doorways and Doors – wipe off finger marks and any other removable marks
- Windows – Clean inside and out
- Screen Doors – Wiped clean and the screen wire brushed
- Stoves – Clean
- Bathroom – Clean all sinks, mirrors, cabinets, vanity units and drawers,
- Toilet – Clean
- Laundry – Clean
- Tiling – Make sure that all tiling and grouting to the kitchen, toilet, bathroom and laundry areas are clean
- Curtains – consider dry cleaning or if you can wash yourself
- Blinds – If you have Venetian blinds, clean off the blind slats
- Floors – Mop/wash as required.
- Carpets – Professionally cleaned prior to inspection
